This week in the Arts & Crafts class we have been learning some things about the primary colors (RED, YELLOW and BLUE). We remembered how they mix and how the produce the secondary colors:
- RED + YELLOW = ORANGE
- YELLOW + BLUE = GREEN
- BLUE + RED = PURPLE
You can do this experiment in your house because is very easy. You only need three things: milk, soap and food coloring. Then, follow the next steps:
- Pour some milk on a plate.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the milk (red, yellow and blue)
- Put some soap in the middle of the plate.
- Enjoy the reaction! Colors will mix in front of your eyes!
We made a lot of colorful works of art in the classrooms. These are only some examples of it:
